St. Petersburg man hits cop car, attempts to elude police

A St. Petersburg man was arrested Sunday for hitting a police car. According to police reports, the man was charged with aggravated assault, aggravated fleeing and eluding, and driving with a suspended license. 

The arrest occurred while police tried to pull over the man for a traffic infraciton. The man initially tried to elude police, but police later cornered him. The man then tried to escape again by running into the back of another police car.
