The Tampa Bay region was rated as the worst region for commuting, according to Forbes.com. The rankings were based on commuting times, as well as alternative transportation options. 

The transportation options included public transit, bicycling, and walking. The ranking came out a month before county officials vote on a sales tax to help fund transportation options.
