Police charged a woman for leaving the scene of an accident on Monday, April 14, in connection with a hit-and-run accident at a New Port Richey day care center.
According to reports, when she went to pick up her child, the woman crashed her car into the building. She then drove home and walked back to the Adventure Learning Child Care Center.
Police were waiting by the time she returned and charged her at the scene. A glass door and window were shattered in the crash.
