NY City man killed in two jet ski collision

A 21-year-old New York City man was killed last Sunday afternoon in a two jet ski accident, according to police reports.

The accident occurred around 3 p.m. on the northern side of the Courtney Campbell Causeway when another man on a jet ski smashed into the 21-year-old's jet ski. The victim was launched into the air before falling back into the water.

Emergency personnel rushed the man to St. Joseph's Hospital, but he was pronounced dead on arrival. Authorities there identified him as a resident of the 500 block of Crown Street in Brooklyn, New York.

The Tampa Marine Patrol is still investigating the accident and charges are pending.

Teenage girl killed, four others injured in boat accident

A boat crash Friday night killed a 17-year-old girl. The girl and four other teenagers were riding a powerboat near Bayboro Harbor when the accident occurred. 

When the boat entered Bayboro Harbor, it crashed into a sea wall at high speeds. While one girl died, the four others were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. 

According to police reports, the cause of the accident was unknown. Howerver, police allege that alcohol may have been involved.
