Bryan Edward Diemer was injured when he was rear-ended in 2007 by an 18-wheeler. The St. Petersburg Times reports that the "18-wheel semi-trailer truck [was] owned by the Times Publishing Co." Diemer claims the company was negligent. He says the company did not maintain the rig properly. In addition, Diemer alleges that the Times Publishing Co., "didn't follow federal regulations regarding driver logs and rest time," reports the St. Petersburg Times.

Diemer is reportedly suing the Times Publishing Co. and the driver, Charles Eberle. According to The St. Petersburg Times, Diemer is requesting $15,000 in damages for what he calls, "a violent rear-end collision."

"Times attorney Alison Steele said she has not yet seen the lawsuit," reports The St. Petersburg Times.
