A woman was killed in a car accident last week. According to police reports, the accident occurred near Pasadena Avenue in St. Petersburg. 

The woman's car was apparently heading east when the vehicle crossed the median and hit another car going south. The three people involved in the accident were taken to a nearby hospitals, where one of the women was pronounced dead.

A man was injured in a van accident Friday. According to police reports, the accident occurred on 5th Avenue N in St. Petersburg. 

The van apparently collided with another vehicle and rolled onto its side. When rescue officials arrived, the man had to be pulled out of his car. The man was then taken to Bayfron Medical Center.

Two freshman girls were hit from behind by another high school student on their walk to school. Both were taken to a nearby hospital for minor injuries.

The girls were walking along the right-hand side of a road with no sidewalk. The sophomore student who hit them alleges that he did not see them prior to the collision. The accident happened around 7 a.m., before sunrise.

While both girls survived the collision with only minor injuries, this accident highlights the importance of remaining vigilant while using the road. A man died in a hit-and-run accident Monday. According to police reports, the accident occurred near Tampa Bay. 

The man apparently was hit by another driver who left the scene of the accident. The other driver returned to the accident scene an hour later. Police have not decided whether or not they will file charges.

A man was killed in a crash Wednesday. According to police reports, the driver was heading north when his car was hit by another vehicle making a left turn. 

When medical officials arrived to the scene, the man was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The driver and passengers in the other vehicle were also taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

St. Petersburg police are investigating whether a St. Petersburg police officer hit a man's car last summer. According to police reports, a Riverview man alleges that a police officer rear ended his car and fled the scene. 

While no one was injured in the accident and the car was not severely damaged, the man reported the accident. The investigation has caued the department to charge one of its officers with reckless driving and leaving the scene of an accident.
