A man was injured in a wheelchair accident in St. Petersburg Tuesday. According to police reports, the man was operating a motorized wheelchair when it hit a car. 

The man was apparently crossing the street, and the driver of the car that him did not see the man in the wheelchair. When medical officials arrived to the scene, they took the man to a nearby hospital.
