Larry D. Beltz has been representing the injured for over 35 years, having received his Juris Doctor degree from Florida State University in 1970.

He has not, nor will he allow members of the firm to represent insurance companies or large corporations. As he has said many times: “We don’t represent the rich and the powerful – we sue the rich and the powerful.” He has always and still does require all members of the firm to provide an initial consultation absolutely free.
Mr. Beltz has handled thousands of civil cases, many involving catastrophic injuries, resulting in settlements or verdicts in the millions of dollars. He is not only a member of the Million Dollar Advocates’ Forum, but also a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates’ Forum. This exclusive organization only admits attorneys who have demonstrated exceptional skill, experience and excellence in advocacy, and who have recovered in excess of $2 million for individual clients.
In 1978, he tried one of the first nursing home cases to be tried in the State of Florida. Subsequent to that trial, he settled a nursing home case where the actual damages were only $2,200, for the incredible sum of $500,000 (including punitive damages).
Mr. Beltz is admitted to practice in every state court in the State of Florida. He is also admitted to practice before the Federal Middle District Court of Florida, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals of the United States of America, and the Supreme Court of the United States of America.
Mr. Beltz is a member of the American Bar Association, The Florida Bar, American Association of Justice (formerly known as the Association of Trial Lawyers of America), Florida Justice Association (formerly known as the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers), St. Petersburg Bar Association, Hillsborough Bar Association, Clearwater Bar Association, Manatee County Bar Association and West Pasco Bar Association. He was Chairman of the Ethics Committee of the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers of 1987 and a member of the Ethics Committee for The Florida Bar for the term of 1987 through 1990.
